“Captivating…” – Associated Press

The world is at war … and the machinations of evil are on the rise once more…

1945. Nazi Germany.

The world has been at war for six years, and not for the first time in this century a watchful eye is focused on the movements of the Germany army.

But unseen, another battle is being waged.

An eternal battle, a terrifying force, far larger than the men involved.

We travel back in time, to an era when future terror is only the twisted dream of a young man.

But when strange rites are freshly performed, a secret gateway slowly opens…

The world may not be ready now or in the future for the power and horror that lies beyond.

But they do not know – this force has been here for generations…

Travelling further in time, we find a medieval world beset by a terrible power. Where a beast awakens from its ancient slumber and steps through the gates to create hell on earth.

And in 1945 in Nazi Germany, a man named Adolf Hitler evokes this hell once more…

Unto the Beast is a chilling, powerful saga of speculative fiction and time travel following the savage rule of a man called Hitler — and how his unnatural obsessions sprang not only from a vicious heart, but from a dark and supernatural past.

Unto the Beast eBook Richard Monaco

This is one of my favorite 'for fun' novels. I wouldn't say this novel has a lot to offer as literature, but it's a fun read! If you've got time on your hands and are interested in the Nazi era and the life of Hitler, this is a fun little piece of fiction to read.

Unto the Beast eBook Richard Monaco Reviews

Bestselling writer Richard Monaco's best, I think, because Unto the Beast travels into the near past -- and rewrites history. A chilling saga of the savage rule of Hitler -- and how his unnatural obsessions sprang not only from a vicious heart, but also from a dark and supernatural past.

The best part is the travel back even further into a medieval world...
Interesting read, however, schizophrenic in the sense it switches between past present and character too often. Many times I had to go back and figure out who was speaking and from what point of view. Premise is cool, all the nazis were probably schizo and thought they were doing the work of whatever fairytale they believed.
I reviewed this book for NetGalley.

Mr. Monaco takes a number of themes - Nazi obsession with the occult, lost civilizations, Hitler and the Nazis' ascent and descent, possession by the dead, and Don Quixote to create an intriguing and action packed novel.

I enjoyed the way Mr. Monaco deftly depicts the divisions in Austria and Germany after WWI - so many opposed the Nazis and their evil, yet they were overwhelmed. I lesson for us all.

This is an interesting novel, somewhat deeper in its subjects that the standard action/fantasy novel. The characters and different plot lines are handled well, though this is not a light, mindless read. I enjoyed the book, as well as gaining some of understanding of Europe after WWI.

A worthwhile and entertaining book with a different take on the rise and fall of the Third Reich.
